Introducing the Mystery Mug Auction
If you win the Mystery Mug Auction - you will receive a mystery mug featuring a never before seen Art Race Submission. As an added bonus, you will be listed as a 50/50 creator split on an Art Race submission for the mystery artwork. If the Art Race submission eventually wins, this means you would receive 50% of the artist split received via the Vrbs auction.
I am a fan of generative art - and slowly building a Vrbs Generator (similar to https://nouns.wtf/playground), only better ! It's something I've been experimenting with since the launch of Vrbs.
The initial Mystery Mugs will be selected from iterations of the Vrbs generator that I find fun. They will be released on a random basis . I might release one, I might release one hundred - I don't have a plan other than to release the ones that I like!
Mystery Mug 0 will be particularly special because it is the original inspiration for Vrb01 - 00. Here's Vrb01:

Why Mystery Mug ?
Mystery Mug is an experimental sponsorship model for Art Race. I hypothesize that we have artists in the community or potential artists that may prefer to receive funding upfront to do their art, vs. receiving payouts only when they win the Art Race. Auctions with an equity Art Race component are one candidate mechanism to give Artists more optionality for generating income in Vrbs . I plan to use the feedback from Mystery Mug to gauge interest in sponsorship models and iterate on this model with community feedback.

Each CupOfVrb is made custom for your order. During production, we convert the artwork from the color spectrum used by the artist to a color spectrum compatible with creating your CupOfVrb (CMYK). The exact colors in the final product may vary slightly from the preview above due to this difference in visible colors between spectrums.
